DAVID TYRELL- BELIEVE
DAVID TYRELL- BELIEVE
Believe was recorded over a number of weeks, a lot of time was spend on this production creating the story line and finding locations to record. When we first met David Tyrrell he had a very strong idea as to what he was looking for from his video.
As a artist he is very creative and wanted his video to mimic his track. This was extremely interesting for us to work with, as he held the vision and we supplied the technical and production knowledge.
David spent every moment he could with us recording the story scenes, keeping a close eye on the monitor and creating new and better avenues to develop the journey of the character.
The young boy in the film is Elliot Gill, he is a budding new musician who held a lot of respect for the band. He was very keen to supply his best acting skills for the production and spent many days recording.
The live band scenes were split over two locations, a beach and a studio. Recording the beach scenes in mid February proved extremely cold. It was a challenging day for all the band and the crew in the harsh conditions.
The second location was a lot easier, we shot in a studio using dmx lighting, creating the strobe and heavily backlit scenes you can see.
